God has left the Church a blueprint to follow in the example of Jesus Christ. We, like Timothy, must be the kind of recreated people that seeks the interests of Jesus Christ. And thus, our greatest interest and endeavor must be the glory of God in Christ in the salvation of sinners. A missionary God is greatly glorified in a missionary church, for such a church has in Christ the heart of God.
